Homebrew is so nice man. Just having the ability to run any game you want without paying, as well as tuning the performance with mods, is amazing.based. i have a modded wii i like alot. im sure a modded switch would be super cool.

Yeah, it's not worth it anymore. Personally, just soft or hardware mod your consoles and call it a day. Recently, the Xbox One had a soft mod exploit that is still available if you keep your console offline. If you update it to the latest dashboard and download a third-party app, you can use a rubber ducky to quickly write scripts to the console. Everything is super early at the moment, but the method is floating around and will most likely be patched very quickly. If you remove IPV6 from DHCPing to your console and run the DNS through your loopback address while taking the console functionally offline, you're golden. I'm very excited to see what it brings. They've pretty much found a way to get into system OS, the virtual machine where apps run, and the environment you get control over when you enable dev mode on your console. This exploit will allow full control over this VM and homebrew on retail consoles without dev mode, which is amazing. Unfortunately, there's no piracy, though.retro games cost too much second hand i have found
modern games arent as good anyways and the subscriptions are a horrible deal, plus 60-70 dollar games
gaming as a whole has gotten way too expensive, so glad modding exists.
