my dad, he always gives me this look of abject horror and disgust, I am a representation and culmination of his failures, whenever he sees me around the house he looks at me as if I am not human so I always stayed sheltered in my room because I dont like getting strange looks and whenever I do have to venture out of my room for basics IE food, water ect I always get anxious because I know my dad will have to see me and he will look at me like some sort of grotesque creature

Yeah I already moved past self loathing and understand the majority of my misfortune has not been my fault, but it is still extremely uncomftorable to experience

You ought to not be so down on yourself. It is his true nature, for when a person is down, most will chose to push them away in a act of selfishness , such has been made obvious throughout all of time.

He feels shame for something he did to you. He can't talk to you about because that would mean admitting what he did wrong.
So he just gives you looks.
