I checked it up today . Booted it up yes it turns on


I just need a gpu my old GPU gtx 1060 3gb was out of warranty got damaged and rusted so I throw it away

Current pc specs
I3 9100F
8 gb ram
120 gb SSD
1 tb hard drive

Should I get the gtx 1650 ddr6

Since this old pc still works

PCfren you should look for offers on Newegg or pcpartpicker for a good deal on a gtx 1660 or a gtx 1060 other than that it looks pretty decent apart from the dust build up. Buying a pre built nowadays is expensive and I don't know your budget. GL

GTX 1650 is garbage. Get a RX 66XX XT something if you're tight on money, so you can use FSR3 frame generation.

Also, upgrade your RAM to 32GB since it's futureproof. Trust me, upgrade your RAM as soon as possible, it's dirt cheap. My browser could barely run 20-30 inactive tabs when playing.

Get a better GPU other than the 1650 (especially for post-2018 games), change your motherboard (especially if you intend to load 70b or something parameter LLM models by offloading the layers on both your GPU + RAM, DDR5 is a must for more inference speed) and replace the sticks with 16GB and, well, if your PSU is above 650W, I think you're good.

For instance, I have a RTX 4090 powered on a generic 650W PSU and it's doing okay.
