i'd say he's just seeing it from his point of view, I mean he used to be really poor and is indeed self made, but he puts this mindset onto us I guess that we must work hard for everything in life just like he did instead of nepotismmaxxing, anyone who is well off and isn't nepotismmaxxing for their kids is genuinely low iq
