the limitations of normalfag empathy is something truly astounding to witness first hand. seeing other people, even your own family start to outright pity you, gaslight you into feeling depressed about your life even though your perfectly content is insane. i guess if you're constantly reinforced in your belief that what you are doing is the only right mode of action, then any deviation must come from a bad place, and refusal to conform must mean you're deficient in some way. constant social pressure have really done a number on these people

my family constantly does this too. i remember when i was a youngcel NEET having the time of my life engaging in meaningful hobbies and thriving as an individual. i would constantly have to justify myself and try not to appear too happy because i was for some reason not supposed to. when my parents speak about those times they always do in a negative manner lol. all i remember of them is just distorted faces pestering me, someone to be just avoided
