Most retarded NPC statement you constantly see regurgitated all over the internet. First of all I have no idea why they're so obsessed with preserving media as if it's their only purpose in life. Secondly this is objectively incorrect. All disks, CDs, and cartridges will eventually rot. If something's digital then it's easier for it to be preserved via piracy or whatever you'd like to call it.

Obsessing over DVDs, game disks and CDs is the cringiest most brain rotted consumerist first world problem shit and I'm tired of seeing it.

From my experience it is a small percentage of people who buy physical movies not "all the internet". The proof of this is how most of the media stores shut down. In my country even the supermarkets stopped selling movies.
I buy them for the cover art and the packaging.

I didn't say all the internet. I said they're spammed all over the internet. Packaging is cool I guess but personally I find buying things to look at boring unless it's sexual because then I can jerk off to it.
