In the forest (2022)
its about these group of ppl who go camping but a landowner threatens them with a rifle to get the fuck off his property.
afterwards the grandad or whatever the fuck he is ends up getting injured or sick or something and the mom goes to find the landowner for help.
she breaks into his house but no one is there except a kid named Andrew who they have stuck in a harness and chained up.
Andrew explains that he needs help and wishes to be free and that they poison him and they have his sister in the basement.
the mom tries to free Andrew but no avail but goes to the basement to look for his sister but she doesnt find her
the landowner from before threatens the remaining camp group but they knock him out and tie him up. the landowner says that the mom who broke into the house and found Andrew is in danger
The mom frees Andrew and explains that she didn’t see the sister in the basement, Andrew freaks out and calls her a liar and assaults her before fleeing the house
the kid andrew is a lil psycho which is why they had him chained up in the first place, as Andrew flees the house the parents show up and capture the mom and hold her in the same harness they used to hold Andrew,
Andrews mom tells the camp groups mom that Andrews sister died years ago, and Andrew was in that harness keep him and others safe. She threatens the camp groups mom to tell her where her son is and scolds her for breaking into their house. She has the uncle go and look for Andrew.
Andrew is running in the forest but ends up at the campsite. The others (the camp daughter and sick father) are in the RV but Andrew notices the tied up landowner and drags him to the river to drown him.
Andrew returns to the RV to meet the daughter who is terrified of Andrew and she saw him kill the land owner. Andrew explains that he killed him to keep himself and his sister safe and that the people poison and abuse him.
The camp daughter dashes to the rv and locks it so andrew can’t get in. Andrew pleads with her but eventually throws a rock through the windshield and climbs in. The camp daughter locks herself in the bathroom while Andrew looks for food.
The uncle shows up trying to reason with andrew and gets into the rv. While the camp daughter remains locked in the bathroom, andrew sneaks up on the uncle and bashes him with the rock he used to break into the RV. Andrew lies to get the camp daughter out of the bathroom saying her injured or sick dad has stopped breathing.
The camp daughter rushes outside but sees her dad is fine and scolds Andrew for lying to her. Andrew says he needs help finding his sister, and she agrees to go back to the house to look for her while carrying a screwdriver and threatening to stab him in the throat if he tries anything.
Andrews mom decides to leave the house to look for the uncle, Andrew, and the landowner. When she leaves the camp mom manages to escape the harness however Andrew and the camp daughter show up and meet the mother.
Andrew says he hears his dead sister crying in the basement. Andrews mom returns enraged with a rifle after learning her family has been killed. They run from Andrews mom and find themselves in the basement to hide. Andrew searches for his sister and finds her. She looks like a zombie. she is extremely dirty and has one eye and long messy hair.
The sister starts crawling toward them but the camp mom says they can come back for the sister after they deal with his mom. The group flee the house but the camp daughter gets shot by Andrews mom and the camp mom gets into a fight with her. Andrews mom chokes the camp mom but she plays dead to pretend she got choked out.
