Do you have a strong passion for anything?
Putting everything you got into something that brings you happiness. It doesn't matter if there is a reward or not, no one cares or you don't gain anything from it. It is just something in life that makes you give everything you got. I think that is the meaning of life, to enjoy.
The worst part of life is when you stop caring. I see the world as a bleak meaningless accident and I'm not getting excited about anything. Now, this brings me to this guy.
He plays the same game as I did when I still peed on my bed as a kid. I got bored and went to try other games and the cycle continued. Now, this guy couldn't get enough, he played and played until he was older and kept on playing.
He ended up breaking a record, yet forgot to mention his name because of the excitement, he was proud of himself and sounds genuinely happy. Only a tiny group of people cared, and his record got broken the next day. Still, he achieved a moment of happiness. I wish I could get excited and be someday happy and proud of my self like this doofus. Yes, this is what I'm jealous of, not money or women, just the genuine feeling of living.

Bear in mind if you are not familiar with the game, this looks fucking impossible and is a result of thousands of hours of repeats.

Monogatari ded srs, only reason I am putting countless hours into studying Japanese is to read the novels jfl. I have no intention of moving to japan or ever talk with anyone in Japanese.

I don't study for JLPT, I just do it my own way like an autismo (Imitating the way how I learned english as kid). I spent a lot of time just mindlessly learning kanji and already have 2.3k+ under my belt, vocab and grammar is lacking tho (probably somewhere at JLPT 3). Currently focusing mostly on immersion and vacuuming as much vocab into my head as possible.

Taking care of your body being a passion is probably the best one anyone could have.

maby.
Ofc not every single reading, but he most common ones - yes. After like the first 1k most kanji only have like 2-4 readings any way, so its not that hard.

Do you think it's possible to learn 3 kanjis a day in a year?
How long have you studied Japanese for?
