Ancient sea life was way more interesting. They had cooler predators. Imagine if all whale species became ruthless carnivores. Humans wouldnt stand a chance in the seas, our boats would get capsized. Whales would shake cruise ships apart like a pinata

It'd cripple trade ships and commerce for sure. Maybe Columbus would have not made it to the Americas with a 70 feet blood thirsty super predator stalking him.

blue whale is a dwarf compare to most modern ships and other sea creatures even smaller , maybe they can shink a fishing boat, but they where hunted to extiction and they didn't have huge boats either (only used to salvage them)

I have always found paleontology to be incredibly interesting. I even wanted to become a Paleontologist when I was little, but I gave up on that after I learned how godawful the chance is to even find proper work as one, so instead my current plan is to go to Filmschool
