Honestly, I think Clannads art style looks better in the anime. In the game, everything looks very detailed except for the characters face's, which looks jarring. In the anime, both their face's, hair, clothing etc are kept more simplistic and are the same level of detail, so aesthetically everything fits together a lot better.
