Was a sci-fi kid, but as I grew and matured I got way more enjoyment out of the fantasy setting. The narratives always seem bigger in scope, even though space is infinite compared to whatever continent a fantasy narrative is set in. Also Sci-fi always attracts the type of people who should be burned in a ditch
But as of late my imagination is appreciating space again, but a more retro/80s imagination of it. Modern sci-fi is too unaesthetic and gay still
