My manager makes me work long hours (9-11 hour shifts) all the time, and it's often on weekends and/or really early, like at 6am. I've only worked for 7 weeks at this grocery store called Woolworths in the deli and I already hate it. It's stressful af, there's so much to do, like updating tags on the deli food bowls, cooking and bagging roast chickens, cleaning bowls, cutting meat, etc. And you have to do this while serving a shit tonne of customers. Its making me want to die. The pays alright though, I'm getting paid casual rates at 20, around 29 AUD (or 20 or so USD) an hour, plus I get penalty rates on Sundays and Saturdays. So I end up making $750-1500 a week depending on the hours I work. I know I have it good financially with this job however I just don't like it. It's probably aging me hard and I have university (civil engineering degree) starting again for the semester and I don't know if I can juggle that shit. I honestly just want to NEET again, this working shit is so hard for me. Thoughts?
