Discussion Should I get a PS5 or PC?

Right now all I have is PS4 but there some good games coming out that it cant run.
I want to play Final Fantasy 16 (coming soon to PC), Black Myth Wu Kong, Phantom Blade, Stellar Blade and Black Ops 6.
If I had a PS5 I would also play Demons Souls and if I had a PC I would play some older games I havent played yet. There is also the chance that they release another game like Bloodborne exclusive to the PS5 but I dont think so.
I dont want to buy yet because I have a feeling they will release a new version of PS5 soon.

If you have a very active NT normie friend group, PS5 mogs without a doubt, if you're a lonely loser with a couple of barely active friends who play porn games buy a PC (Pc mogs for single player and all the other thing like modes etc...)

Pc, since you can have mods and play much older games and games are also cheaper, and you don't have to pay for PSplus

PC mogs infinitely, you can easily torrent nearly any vidya possible. You can get a really solid setup with a 4060 in it for $500-600, which is the GPU I'd recommend getting for your build, as it's similarly priced to a 3060 and is among the most cost effective GPUs you can buy on the market.

Also this. If you prefer laying in bed while playing games, you could get a PS5 controller and connect it to your PC and lay in your bed playing vidya like normal. From what I recall, you can emulate a PS4, Xbox One and a Switch through your computer, downloading the entire library of games for free online playing them. Getting a PC is like getting eight generations of consoles all at once and more, since most games that you'd find on a PS5 are also ported to PC. It's a nobrainer, PC mogs.

sounds good, but I dont play that much so I dont need thst many games

You can emulate literally virtually everything besides a PS5. From PSP, 3DS, switch, gameboy, gamecube, PS4, PS3, Xbox 360, you can download any game you want for free just about. It's not about needing that many games, it's about being able to download any game you ever want for free at the click of a button and be playing it 30 mins later, instead of wasting $60 to buy a single game on PS5 that you might end up regretting buying.

Hook your PC up to your TV with an HDMI cord. Get a controller hooked up to your PC. Like $30 and you've turned your PC into essentially what a console does.

Basically what @Lain mentioned. Any console besides new gen consoles. Ive emulated Wii games, GBA, DS, PS2.

Ps5 will receive some good games soon and has and will some exclusives, but if you can afford a high end PC them ye that's the safest and better choice hands down, otherwise go for the Ps5, consoles of this gen will last a long time, just get the newest model it's cheaper and you don't need blue rays. (Unless for collection and stuff, if you care)

Get a personal computer, PS5 isn't bad but a computer is more worth it.

You can only watch streaming services on ps5
Like Netflix, Hulu, Disney+
They do have some anime streaming services but barely any
they also have YouTube app on PlayStation

I made a great mistake selling my PC to buy a ps5 that I had to pay 800 since I wanted to get it early
And a month later I got bored of it
So I only use my PS5 to watch YouTube

only things consoles are good for are exclusives which are a Jew scam tbh,

you can do so much more things with a PC while youre very limited on a PS5. you even have to buy a fucking gay membership to be even able to participate in online games (I think its like >60€ per year or something...) And the game keys for PC gamers are also much lower. and on console its a pain in the ass to mod while its pretty easy on pc.

if u have the money for a ps5, you have enough to build a solid pc. and dont buy some pre-built shit, inform yourself about pc equipment beforehand. good luck

What exclusives? I only care about FF16 but its coming to PC, also Demons Souls but I dont really care about that one
