if i did a meme degree at a free college abroad i'd meet all my ethnic family's expectations and would never have to worry about them again, even if the degree is useless and doesn't get me anywhere in life i can shamelessly rot as much as i want my family will just think "oh well he might be rotting at home with no job but he got his education in the 1st world so at least he's a genius!", unironically this is how my mom thinks, she doesn't actually care where i end up in life she just wants me to do better than my cousins academically, so idk guys maybe i should do a sociology or communications degree in some community college in the slums of detroit, my dad will be proud and my mom will worship me and brag to our whole family about me and let me NEET
