I recently discovered that a couple finance bros in my fraternity are making MORE THAN 10k A MONTH working selling insurance/working for car companies/similar positions. These aren't positions that you need any special kind of education for. None of them have been to business school these are undergrads who got really good at microsoft excel and run thought experiments for homework.

To make this much money my plan is premed which is gonna take 10 more years of slavery & debt & hard work. Then dealing with crusty people all day and being an expert on everything.

These guys just sit on their asses all day & let the product sell itself. I think the insurance guy makes this passively. These positions were all inside hires only so having a resume doesn't even fucking matter. Never even started for autists like myself you have to become such a superior success product to compensate for a base stat issue.

Sales is hard lol. Try selling insurance on commission alone and see how long you last. If it sold itself they wouldn't be paid so handsomely
depends on what you're selling imo. if the product is actually good your job is just explaining it. ik people that have worked different ends of the sales gig but could be ignorant idk not like it's my job. I don't think being a car sales guy is that big a skill if someone wants a car they want the car.
