This also happens irl and people interpret my silence and as being impolite which results in me remaining an outcast and not developing social skills. It's a vicious cycle.

all of these tips are great but the question is, can someone who missed out on developmental milestones ever recover? It doesn't seem like it.
Someone who doesn't learn to talk in their first 5 years of life never will and similarly i have never seen a social outcast ever recover.
