Won´t it just go back to normal once you´re exposed to sunlight again? I don´t see the point in even lightening your skin if you can´t go outside during the day.

not really because I don't tan easily. it was darker than usual because I was walking in the summer sun 4-5hours a day so it was above its regular set point in tone
