So i was in navy jrotc earlier last year ( before i moved to the west coast for 8 months then came back down south and started army jrotc at a new school), and after fund raising for months we went out a trip to norvolk Virginia got to the school at 4am, and then got on buses one for the guys and one for the girls was an 8 hours drive took one stop at the va state marker the drove to the ship yard, we went on the ship, we saw the hanger talked to some sailors then walked through the ship to the commander part, it was very narrow and i wasnt even tall i was 5'9 skinny 14yo but it was still cramped, so we took turns sitting in the captain chair so many buttons then we got lunch, i joked about the lack of hot sauce when the fish and the sailors said it was because muh thousand of people work on this ship ( even though 100 billions of dollars are spent on the military YEARLY) , then we left the ship saluted the flag, went to a salad bar ate, drove around, went to get dinner at this chink restaurant i bought nothing sense i was trying to save my money instead i bought 2 2 liters sodas a some packs of candy and a giant slushy at a gas station , we went to our hotel stayed up gaming made some noodles on the stove ( i ate none), then we slept it was 4 boys to a room but only two beds so two guys slept in the same bed i let my bed mate keep the bed and slept on the chair because thats gay , then we went to a military mall in the morning for a few hours , i bought a usmc sweater then we drove back home.
