Yeah the problem with Gacha is they rely entirely on the cute girls but forget the game half. So many Gacha games are basically collection galleries it's comical. You should try Xenoblade

FGO is engaging enough to play on its own though, there is no auto mode and they try to make the gameplay as interesting as possible, even though it's turn based. The problem is like all gachas where you feel the desire to empty your wallet for new characters every month.

I got her with pretty small resource investment and felt so good afterwards. Now I still have enough to get at least one of the 5.5 anniversary characters guaranteed in August too.

Guarantee to get her was 2500 rainbow diamonds and I had 2000. I could have grinded the remaining 500 from solo mode but I would have been broke in August then when there will probably release at least one character who is stronger than her by then. I managed to get her with just 250 while others spent 2000 and didn't get her. Chance to get a 4 star character is 7% but she only had a 0,2% chance to pulled in that pool of characters, so very abysmal.

I didn‘t expect to like it anyway but I liked the developer’s other game a lot, Punishing Gray Raven, played it in 2021 I think for a couple months. Maybe even 6 months or longer.

I kinda prefer games that have PvP because it's more competetitive. I would probably play any Final Fantasy gacha over FGO because I like their universe and designs more than those of the Fate series.
