every time i hear this it makes me incredibly sad, not just for them but the clown world and state of the human race.
"the best times in my life were when I was in high school and after school I raced home to consume media/play video games/watch anime"
at one point i would assume this is the kind of thing pretty much only people who post on these types of forum would say, but nope.
ex.
- boomers who reminisce about when everyone watched the same tv programming because the tradition of having conversations deaded with the ww2 generation
- millennials/gen X that are super into Nintendo for example pretty much have made a cult of idolizing their childhood where they disassociated from trauma and bullying by playing mario.
- the irony of nostalgia for watching high school anime while in high school (me )
The obvious reason for this is because they simply did not have any extended period of good experiences that were better or more enjoyable than the universal experience of rotting in front of a screen - what exactly does that say of their "friends" and "romantic life" LMFAO.
this is a very good debunking of the idea that life gets better or that muhhhhhh men peak in their 30s and 40s!!!! - no lol. Biologically your prime is pretty much pre-programmed just like puberty or menopause. This is the age where everything is new and your passions are inflammed - whatever memories you have then will be the most vivid for the rest of your life which will unfold based on that foundation. I am convinced 15 year old's kiss > 45 year olds 15 million dollar lottery ticket. which are you gonna see when you close your eyes?
although it is possible to change the patterns of your life and create new peaks , this isn't very likely beyond objective limitaitons like blackpill because with age the strength of your routine activities and thoughts grows with the decline of your vital energies - which you need to start a new pattern of behavior in your life. Shame also grows, ask any 50 year old and they WILL have an activity they want to do, maybe (once) burning regret would be more accurate.
