You're forced to become someone who you really aren't, socialisation is based on deception and hiding your true self in favour of society standards. You're put in a position of faking how you feel, what you believe, how you behave so people will tolerate you at best. You must also realise people are putting on an act like you, you're never able to perform a proper connection because of it, trying to befriend people irl is practically impossible and if achieved, it will be a relationship based on dishonesty
You could only make 'friends' by connections you make when you were a kid or younger, because every kid was low inhib and can form connections by the simplest bonds. But as people grow older, everyone is complex and don't seek any form of relationship unless it benefits them
