The thing I don't like about Isekai

They introduce this world with magic and dragon and monsters and other shit, etc. So I always expect some crazy shit to be constantly going on and there to be a very cool chaotic plot.

But instead they spend 90% of the screentime on the most mundane shit. It's so dissapointing.

The last season of Mushoku Tensei revolved around a fucking boner, and people call it a masterpiece. This is proof how brainwashed Isekai fans are. Imagine settling for that quality, that could never be me. That's why they keep pumping out trash because people just eat it up. It's quite sad really.

I fucking loved isekai so much you have no idea. Read tens of thousands of chapters of all kinds of light novels, even chinese Wuxia and Xianxia that are THOUSANDS of chapters long. Korean shit, Jap shit, Chinese shit. I read it all. Manga and manhwa and anime too.

RoyralRoad writers make money through Patreon. I wrote for a year with no luck. Granted I wasn't doing much marketing, still got no idea how novels make it. I think it's down to luck idk.

The anime is just a glorified advertisement to the LN, most of the time there is 10/10 fights, strange creatures, magic, gods, the latest season in Mushoku is basically part of his training arc before he becomes a young adult/adult travelling around the world fighting, getting involved with geopolitics and more. I think the anime and LN is selling well enough to justify it getting fully adapted so you should see it soon. Mushoku Tensei is what made the isekai genre get so popular to begin with with the LN.
