Discussion Theory: low effort posters are trying to save the forum

@Based Vampire recently made a thread about low effort posters. But I have a theory that these low effort posters are actually trying to save the forum. If our community becomes too high effort and comfy then lesser folk from other sites will come here until they outnumber us then will start changing this forums community until we are all banned for not being neets or something because we had a part time job 5 years ago. These users are trying to prevent this from happening through low effort posting. Maybe its not that they are low effort, rather they are playing 4d chess.

But since you are bringing this up can you elab how exactly does low-effort posting prevents low-iq niggas from .is, looksmax and other sites from flooding us

Good content attracts "mutants" who want to feel "high iq" too. This leads to the actual good content creators becoming outnumbered by these people until the mutants start to get the good content creators banned. Eventually the good content creators go somewhere else and these normie people follow them to ruin another site. Its an endless cycle.

The reason these spaces are successful was due to a small contingent of high iq posters who were on a niche site. They were ruined after the flood of low iq posters who have nothing to do with the sites success, they can't post anything so they resort to turning the sites into a social club. They start to low effort post and ignore the "high iq" threads.

If this forum becomes too high iq and entertaining other people will join due to a fear of missing out. These people are not 1% people so they will start to try to turn it into a social interaction forum. They will then attempt to make the mods ban users for not following the social order etc. until the forum is dead then they will leave it.

Maybe the low iq posters are trying to prevent this cycle from occurring.

This is exactly what I've experienced in online communities for several times, I've just left a site called Agora Road because the exactly reason you made here : the site has basically became an outcast version of social media filled with platitudes you'd expect from an alt-site. I think this place would never degenerate into that as long as you won't got banned for petty forum dramas or "not following the social order" as you pointed out.

everyone wants to be where the big dick energy is, but only 1% of people are capable of creating that kind of energy
