Basically I was trying to make conversation with someone while on the subway and I asked them what do they do on their free time, and they basically told me I wouldn't get it, so I pressed further and they just told me they don't have free time. They work, study and do chores all day every day, from monday till monday, from the moment they wake up till the moment they go to sleep, they are either working, cooking for other people, cleaning the house, studying, or commuting, and never have time for going out or even just reading a book. I truly feel bad for these people, I really wanted to tell them I am sorry they have to live life like this, but then I thought they might feel offended so i said nothing. I mean, my life is already miserable and I have never had to work hard on anything, I have been pretty lazy and there was never anything expected from me, I can't imagine how much more miserable I would be if I had to essentially be a slave my whole life, never doing what I wanted because I was busy doing stuff for someone else.

I've known people like this. They're generally not doing it because they LIKE being workaholics; it's out of necessity.
Wages are low because the minimum wage hasn't improved, and inflation is high. Pay isn't being adjusted proportionately. They're lying about the rates as a form of social control.
Many need to work 6-7 days per week just to scrape by in most major cities, and they can't find financial assistance because the poverty ceiling isn't generous.
Even disabled, elderly veterans are being turned down for services in favor of culturally alien biotrash who just stepped off the boat. Low-functioning autists who screech and bash their heads against the wall are told they're fit for work by the welfare offices. First-world countries have become economic zones that ignore their rightful citizens.

My life may be miserable, and I often feel depressed. But I appreciate every hour of free time I have, even though I don't know what my future holds, I don't know if I'll have to go out and look for a job.

Shit, I hate society for how it ostracizes me, and I have no desire to contribute to it, I'm looking for ways to make money online.
