This forum is small, and it's a blessing.
Both .co and .me have grown to be sites full of newbs and normies.
They have thousands of active users, who send thousands of messages every day.
This has made forming meaningful relationships difficult.
CASE STUDY:
Both .co & .me are, at least to new users, very similar to Reddit and 4chan.
What makes Reddit and 4chan similar is the fact that the people you see change every time you load a new page.
When people are thrown into a room with hundreds of people, they will all look more or less the same.
TL;DR: Forming relationships with other people becomes more difficult as a community grows.

- In 2018 - Q2 of 2019 Looksmax.me was a tightly knit community (<1000 users)
- Every member knew each other
- In the Q4 of 2020 Looksmax.me is a forum with thousands of active users
- People are strangers
