They might launch an attack on several areas rather than taking over poorly defended SAA-held areas like Sukhnah or Arak after SAA has withdrawn most of their important units to reinforce Eastern Halab frontline (withdrawn divisions include Afghan Shia militias stationed in Deir Ezzor).

The Iraqi Army is reinforcing the borders for unknown reasons, especially in Sinjar... and ofc, they've sent hashd militia to help their alawite brothers against the wrath of the muslims in Idlib...
