Wagecuckdom is subjective, depends on where you live, how much you earn, living cost, and above all, how much hard work you need to put into your job and what you get in return in terms of work-life balance.

Their take home salary would be around 8K~9K/month (150K is not minimum, it's average) --

and a borderline decent home in that area is priced around 800K minimum (3500/month mortgage).

So like your cash in hand is 5K/month (maximum if you get 150K), with which you can barely live a marginal middle class life in that area, specially if you have family and kids, you are fucked.

Another option is to take a longer commute, 2~3 hours max and live in a very remote place, where you might get cheaper homes. But you are going to spend 5~6 hours (including traffic and other shit) just for a freaking commute, lmfao. Also you need to sleep for at least 6 hours since the job is extremely stressful and competitive, you need to prove your worth to your boss every fucking day.

So you are basically staying at your home awake for only 24 - (8 + 6 + 6) = 4 hours.

And here we are talking about google, one of the highest paid and toughest companies to get in.
