I am quitting my job on Wednesday and returning back to neet which I am excited about but understand it has its flaws but I want to hear what your advice is for keeping positive mental health when neeting.

Back when I was a neet a year ago I used to go on walks once or twice a day, I am planning to do this 100% as getting fresh air and moving around is so important.

Another one is gyming but honestly it feels like such a chore and a part time job so I dont think I will ever return to gymming to be honest.

The final one I am considering is getting into some type of fun niche sport but I will have to get back into shape which will take me 2 months as I havent done any exercise in over a year.

What do you enjoy that helps you and calms you?

I dont do these often but I should
-Finding a real hobby like diving(I know its a long shot but as an example)
-reading books daily (philosophy maybe)
-exercise (this is a must imo, at least walk 30 mins a day)
-exploring nature if possible

- find an actual hobby that isn't media consumption
- take a walk once a day
- watch your diet. Avoid PUFA or seed oils
- condition your brain to not rely on short bursts of dopamine. Learn to enjoy doing boring shit
- don't spend too long online. Spend a maximum of 4 hours on the 'puter then spend the rest of the day doing something more worthwhile. Read a book or practice your hobby instead. Even staring at the wall for a while to clear your head is better than staying online too long

You have the bases covered for guarding against mild depression which is excercise. Walking is a very good base for that.
I quit my job a couple of years ago as well. Just seen some tweets about people with autism are not meant to work with other people unless you are the boss. Think I will look into freelancing. Coder maybe.
