What would happen if you gave the romans a modern map?

What if you gave the romans a poltical/physical globe? What would they do with it? Would they colonzie the earth? New romance languages? Moving the capital to central america instead of byzantine? Australian becoming a zoo? Biggest genocide in history?

If you did give them a political map would they start freaking out and execute you for saying that they got acked by istanBULL? Would they start making allies?

True that it isn't difficult but it's extremely risky and expensive. Modern fighters would grow suspicious right away lol

Well, for one, they'd know the best places to colonise based off the resources shown in the map. They'd also have the the best trade routes humanely possible. The Romans knowing about North America would have been a game changer, even if they weren't particularly good at doing anything sea related, I think they would've dumped insane amounts of money/resources into colonising this massive piece of free real estate. If they didn't but still knew of it's existence, you'd have other Europeans rushing to the North America far sooner, which would likely mean a much faster industrial revolution. If Europeans knew about North America 2000 years ago, we would've already started by now to explore a decent part of our galaxy on spaceships, that's what I believe. The USA is just so rich in resources and if it's even managed halfway ok, like it has been, it's impossible for things to not advance quickly.
