It's a simple question, one that most of us are too afraid to ask ourselves, in fear of the restlessness it might cause. Strip yourself of all middle-class trappings and what do you have left? We're too preoccupied with the vices and obsessions we base our identity on, never realising how shallow we are. Most people define themselves by the objects they obsess over, what they disavow and the goyslop they so eagerly consume.
I saw a .net user lamenting over how they - besides family and the lust they feel for women - had nothing in life. It's quite sad but I suspect many other adolescent men are going through the same; that type of emptiness arising from a lack of personal excellence. When you have nothing to call your own, all you're left with is desires and stuff derived from circumstances.
