Look at this for example, one of the authors of the article is a former .is mod, we also have other .is mods talking about similar things. Incels/neets/looksmaxxers are basically considered fringe groups with the potential for extremism so it makes sense why the government would create these forums to monitor said individuals, and honestly its been extremely effective.
