Before any of you fucking normtards say "muh, KH3 story sucked" I know it did. But seriously, what fucking retard plays a video game for the story? If you want something that's story driven, watch a damn movie.
Anyways, the combat in KH3 is the best compared to KH1 and KH2 (excluding BBS, COM, and other side games). The problem with KH2 was the blocking. You couldn't block mid combo and when you could block, there was about a 1 second delay until Sora pulled his keyblade up. When doing the challenging data fights, this would be rage inducing since he would pull this autistic spin during EVERY block. Some thought it looked cool, ok. But want to know what doesn't look cool? Getting your shit fucked up because you did a gay ass ballerina spin before blocking.
The Drive forms in KH2 were cool, but in the first 20 to 30 hours of the game, you weren't given the opportunity to use them often since finding drive orbs were not too common. In KH3, your Drive forms could be activated every 10 to 30 seconds of combat or so. This constantly made the gameplay feel fresh and different. Especially since every keyblade in the game was extremely uniquely different from one another. In KH2, doing the same repetitive combo for the millionth time was extremely boring.
