Ive read two self help books:
  • How to win friends and influence people
  • Atomic habits
Two years later, I still have 0 friends, I cant pass a job interview and I still rot 24/7. Most of the advice they give is generic garbage, you are much better off just looking for a summary on youtube.
I would much rather read a story that makes me think and reflect on myself.

Even Einstein himself can't teach you algebra if you don't know how to count.

Carnegie's book is really good. His life story is even better.

Did you know that Dale Carnegie changed his name?

His real was Dale Carnegey.

He changed his last name from Carnegey to Carnegie.

You know the influential Carnegie family in the U.S?

Yeah, that's the reason.

My man Dale realized that Carnegie sells more courses and books than Carnegey.

tbh that book assumes you are a normie with some knowledge in social interactions. I dont even leave my house and cant barely hold a conversation for more than 10 seconds, I was doomed from the start

It was the first book I really enjoyed reading. It got me into reading too tbh.

The book really inspired me to talk to more people. And I did it. I managed to make new friends.

I could easily talk to just about anyone anywhere. It was really fun.

But don't think that you have to follow the book 100 %.

It should give u the initial push and courage to socialize with other people imo...

As you gain more xp in charisma, you kinda forget that the book exists.
