Why all these blablabla about beauty rankings, comparisons with other well known or unknown men, attraction rating, votes and so on... irrelevant importance for us women, vital importance for men. We love Richard not only for his beauty, but for his charme, aura and personality at any age, even he was older.
I met hundreds of men like Gandy walking down the streets in my entire life, but never one man like RR. And I'm not into cheekbones & wavy hair as you said, because all the men I have dated or had relationships with, have been bald and bearded. So yours are just hypotheses or suppositions on female tastes.
another male prejudice: his personality was his strong point, believe it or not, maybe even more than his physical (stunning) appearance.
