Depends if I got caught or naught. But probably neither. Even getting rich from crime isn't worth it cause then your always looking over your shoulder paranoid most criminals get either greedy, sloppy, brag then get caught, want fame ect. In the end its just not worth it. The only crime worth pursuing is insurance fraud. You can get rich quick but you better have it all planned ahead to every detail.

I'd say credit card fraud and deep web drug selling is primarily by social outcasts that are relatively intelligent, compared to normal people, anyways. There's grey areas for chemists that have the knowledge or just drug enjoyers:

You can get arrested for years for selling a less potent version of a drug, only because the lawmakers know about it. If you modify that chemical ever so slightly, you're off the hook. The current going price for 4F-MPH is about $9 per gram from China, when sold domestically in the USA, you can sell it for $60 a gram.

This research chemical has been out since 2015 and people have been selling it comfortably safe. In the future, it will be banned. The Chinese man will change the F to something else and give it a slight change in name and the same business will repeat. You can become a legal drug dealer, so long as the drugs have a high LD50, you have little reason to worry about any potential legal consequences. Or for something like credit card fraud, how can you catch someone committing fraud if there's no evidence whatsoever on their PC of the crime and their traffic is encrypted? That would be very hard to prove guilt without any reasonable doubt.
