would you rather be highly specialized and extremely successful in fields no one cares about, at the expense of being mediocre in everything else, or above average in everything?

Me personally, im sick of being a nobody. I want to be above average in every conceivable metric so i dont have to really worry about getting mogged hard in anything. At worst, i'd live an above average life and have high appeal to most people, with very few hurdles. I can see why people would pick the former though, i would choose it if it was being a pro at a game or some revolutionary person, but because the fields aren't specified and nobody cares about them, id choose the latter option in the aforementioned poll

i guess wheatwaffles kind of qualifies since before this year, blackpill was niche. Someone like him or some typical high tier (most have at least one main weakness) lower-upper class person

youd already have a good income and well off parents as the second option. Youd also be 6’ as opposed to being like 5’9.5-10
