I’ve never seen the anime beyond Stardust Crusaders. I’ve always anticipated part 7 OVA because parts in the manga could be convoluting.

ok so, for me it was like this.
I did watch the anime part 1-4.
Then I read the rest of the manga.
I dont like what they did starting in part 5 of the anime. Like, imo the quality is getting cheaper and cheaper.
The music choices are going to shit.
There is so much fan stuff out there but they dont care.

And part 7 is basically the pinnacle of Jojo. They cant fuck it up, they would be retarded.
But, and correct me if Im wrong, part 7 is NOT viewed as the top in Japan. In fact, they say the reception was kinda bad. And that doesnt surprise me, Japan does not respond well to western-themed media. Like remember, even Cowboy Bebop was a flop in Japan.

And thats terrifying. Because Japan is an isolationist country, they will not give 2 shits about what fans outside Japan think about part 7.
They may literally treat it like something you just get over with. Wham bam thank you mam.

Don't get me wrong, we have the manga of course (some of the colorings are terrible though -.-) but I really hope they do it justice in the Anime.
