Semi-NEET here. How do I get a job as a software engineer?

I'm 19 and in college, although my GPA is lackluster and I'm going to switch majors pretty soon because I'm going to become a permaNEET if I stay with my current major.

I've been doing a few projects, although I've been having a poor experience with getting a job, although I'm very skeptical of getting a good paying IT job because the interwebz has so many scams.

I doubt the accuracy of that statement, although I've considered coding boot camps.

I could hypothetically try to take the normie route of just transferring to a college that has a computer science program because I'm only 19.

I'd be very lucky if a college's computer science program even considers accepting me because of my rather lackluster grades in community college and my current college.
