Not that anyone cares but since i feel like giving an update i probably have to.

I moved back in with my parents since i hate spending money on stuff i can do/have for free aswell (groceries, dinner, rent, gas, electricity)
I just started a job that pays an acceptable rate, however i am just using this so i can repeat my scheme which is pinned in this section.
My ''side gig'' has been running for some time now and is giving me a steady source of income thats above the amount most people recieve in benefits. I would elaborate on this but its not even exactly a side gig but something i big brained myself in which could also possibly doxx me since its very specific. So i'd rather just say it makes me 1-1,5k a month which i cant lose and doesnt interfere with my sick leave rinse and repeat buxx.
After the crypto bullrun of 21 i wasted a lot of my money but as of today my balance still reads about 20k USD which i have spread across 3 cryptos. I have about 40k left in the bank and about 30k in things i own (cars, watches for ex).

I have no clue what i will be doing in the future and it just feels more and more pointless. Lately i have been thinking about possibly having undiagnosed ADHD that actually might be ruining my life but i'l bring that up to my psychiatrist during my upcoming long term sick leave. Its always worth the shot and since our healthcare is almost entirely socialised there are no monetary concerns on that part.

Thanks for reading.

Wow, I'm impressed. That's quite the wealth you're building.

Do you have any tips on how to come up with side gigs? No need to give out any details, I'm just interested in how one can come up with that kind of stuff.

As for the moving back in with your parents, I totally agree. I can't understand how people can spend money on rent and bills. It would drive me nuts to know that I am sacrificing several hours of my day working for money just to pay for something that is gone by the end of the month. Seems insane to me. Literally crazy.

I am good at larping (my job requires it!) and I'm not the stupidest guy around. Can you give some more hints please? Thanks!

I quit the job and decided i want to make more money so i became a freelancer once again. Currently at a freelance job for 2 weeks now that pays 40 euros a hour. Probably going to reinvest most in crypto just like i planned before. No interest in sick leave atm i just need to grind and gamble all my money on magic internet money if i ever want to get out of the trap

in the past 4 weeks i made

Freelance job - 6200 euros
side gig (takes few hours a month) 1200 euros
trading construction equipment - 2000 euros

total: 9400 euros = 10.300 dollars
- 1100 euros operation costs = 8300 euros = 9100 dollars

Tbf i hate the hourly pay freelance job but i honestly like my side hustles i have currently been doing, its more satisfying than slaving away at some big project by the hour.

just a note i still live in the netherlands so this income might not seem impressive to americans its in western european standards so keep that in mind when judging.

i feel like i have been relatively lucky on the contruction equipment trading so it might be less in the next month, but who knows what else might get me ''inspired''

taxes are calculated by the year as a freelancer so i cant say how much i have to pay yet. however if i invest more in trading equipment i can force my profit to be low so i pay low tax, that gives me more financial leverage aswell in the longterm since i will own more stuff to trade.

'This friday i quit my freelance job in construction since i fucking hate working construction so much. But don't worry, in the meanwhile i'l take the next week to get some extra work done in my trading side hustle. In the next week i will probably find some freelance job that isn't construction. I will update when i found something to do that doesnt make me exhausted and dirty at the end of the day

22 june - august 1 report

i will take the 1st of each month as an easier point of reference.

Freelance job: 3200 euro
side gig: 1200 euros
equipment trading: 1300

operations cost: 500

total result: 5200 euros = 5700 dollars

Not a very great result for a long month, but considering i quit the freelance job its doable. I am already halfway august and expect to be
somewhere around the same or a bit less. However i think at this point i am putting in around 10 hours of work a week. Pretty based for the money though. September will probably do better, with ongoing results expected for the remainder of the year. But thats still depending on how much what i expect to happen will actually happen. It will cost me way more time though

1 august - 1 sept report

side gig: 1200 euros
equipment trading: 700 euros

operations cost: 300

total result 1600 euros = 1700 dollars

Wank month, did fuck all. Currently i am ''busy'' trying to sell many of the material things i own for decent prices. This is to improve my liquid cash reserves with no goal in mind at all. Just to feel more at peace, which might make me even lazier. I dont expect the remainder of september to see any special bigger influx of money. I could make an additional 7k euros a month at freelance job but i just deny getting up at 5:30 again. In fact i do have an opportunity on something that isnt construction but would pay slightly less (however i can do 50 hours a week instead of 40 so it will even out). It requires me to only get out of bed at like 8-9 depending on the day but the biggest downside is that i see a realistic probability of this company actually going bankrupt lmao. I heard their finances have been shitty overall ever since covid and sometimes it takes over 3 months to get your money if you dont pressure them enough. So thats why i haven't been back into freelancing yet
